Paternity Tests and Genetic DNA Profile

Paternity test

Price: Informative Test 290 € + IVA / Legal Test 350 € + IVA
Turnaround time: 10 working days (monday to friday)

This test consists of comparing the DNA of two or more samples to check or to deny the paternal link between them. There are two types of tests depending on the use that wants to be given to the obtained information: informative or legal.

Informative or Private TestThe result is communicated to the person who requests the test. Participants are not identified, as the test doesn’t have legal validity, and is totally confidential.

Legal TestThe result can be used as evidence in judgments. Identification of all the participants and the follow-up of the chain of custody during the whole process is needed to guarantee the impossibility of manipulation of the samples. The Legal Test differs from the Informative one because, besides reporting, forces the participants to accept the results obtained by legal route, helping to solve cases related to civil and penal law, in which supposed progenitors need to prove or to deny their biological paternity for different motives (inheritances, divorces, familiar regrouping, etc.).

Non Invasive Prenatal Paternity Test in maternal blood

Genetic DNA Profile price: 1500 € + IVA
Turnaround time: 15 working days (monday to friday)

This Non Invasive Test detect with a maternal blood sample the kinship between fetal DNA and the alleged biological father.

The kinship is confirmed when coincidence is detected at least 99.9 % of the analysed markers in the paternal and fetal DNA

Genetic DNA profile

Genetic DNA Profile price: 200 € + IVA
Turnaround time: 10 working days (monday to friday)

Report that collects all data provided by a DNA analysis. It was especially created for people who want to know and file their genetic profile, to use it in future situations that may require it:

  • Adopted children in case there doesn’t exist the possibility of having direct biological samples from family members. Knowing the genetic profile of these children is essential in case of accident or loss, as it could make the identification confronting the registered identity with that of biological remains found.
  • Died familiar about to be burned. As a preventive measure, you can keep the genetic fingerprint for future situations that may require it.
