Toxicology and Bioanalysis

The main activity of the Toxicology and Bioanalysis  unit is based on the use of advanced instrumental techniques of analysis, such as mass spectrometry coupled to gas chromatography, liquid chromatography and ICP with methods developed internally.

The fields of work are biomarker analysis of occupational exposure to chemicals, Therapeutic Drug Monitoring (TDM), confirmation of drugs of abuse, parameters to determine anti aging and nutrition-related tests (analysis of metals, vitamins, fatty acids W3- W6,...).

The unit also has extensive experience working with the pharmaceutical industry to conduct analytical development of drugs in different clinical phases of human and veterinary field.
