Determination of antibodies against rabies in dogs, cats and ferrets
Recently there has been an increased geographical mobility and that means that many pet owners travel with them. It is subject to animal health requirements to prevent the spread of diseases transmissible to humans or to other animals. Each country establishes their conditions* which animals must carry out in order to enter to the country of destination.
Most countries require animal identification by clearly readable tattoo or microchip, possession of passport or certificate signed by an official veterinarian or authorized person and, in many cases, a statement certifying the level of antibodies against rabies.
Echevarne Veterinary offers Antibody determination against rabies and the necessary certificate.
*These conditions can be found in the embassies of each country.
Note. You need to fill specific request document with all animal data and send it to the Laboratory with the identified sample and generic application document.
